Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha also called Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is a popular British stage and stage actor who gained popularity when she appeared in"Doctor Who" (a British science-fiction TV show) The show aired on BBC channel. Handler started her stand-up career on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly which was a reality program with the use of a hidden camera/practical joke. The series ran from 2002 until 2005. The host went on to work in numerous other shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler appeared on The Tonight Show for a while as a correspondent. Handler's big break was in 2006 after she started hosting her own show on E! The show was titled Chelsea Handler. The show ran over two years. Handler then followed up with performing on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour and within the United States. Stand-up comedy performances from Handler have been aired by VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend and HBO. In 2010 it was announced that she would host for the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010.
